Deposits

To secure a booking we require a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total trip cost. Deposits are due at the time of booking and are in U.S. Dollars. This deposit allows us to secure excursions for your trip, which can fill up very quickly and have limited availability. If the start of your trip is within 90 days of booking, full payment will be required at the time of booking.

Deposits are accepted via an email invoice, which will be sent to you upon booking. Payment can be made by credit card or check. We accept Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express® and Discover® for tour deposits & payments. Some trips have specific cancellation fees, which will be noted on the trip itinerary and will be explained at the time of booking to the client.

Trip Balance

The remainder of the balance for your trip with True North Travel is due in full, 90 days prior to the trip start. If full payment is not received within 90 days of the start of your trip your itinerary may be cancelled.

Itinerary Cancellations

We strictly adhere to the True North Travel, LLC Cancellation Policy. The last thing we want is for you to have to cancel your trip because of unforeseen circumstances, nor do we want you to lose your deposit. Many of our affiliates and the accommodations we book require non-refundable deposits themselves, thus the reason for our policy. Because of this we highly recommend you purchase travel insurance to protect your investment.

If you wish to cancel your trip we require a written cancellation notice. Our cancellation policy goes into effect once the trip deposit is received from the client. Once the cancellation notice is received we will send a confirmation receipt to you to confirm your trip has been canceled. Trip cancellation notices can be scanned and emailed to travelalaska@tntak.com or physically mailed to: 9201 E Queensboro Avenue, Palmer, AK. 99645

In the event of a trip cancellation, True North Travel, LLC will retain 100% of the initial, non-refundable deposit. After the non-refundable deposit is retained, True North Travel, LLC will refund:

            - 100% of trip balance for cancellations made 91 days in advance of trip start,

            - 50% of trip balance for cancellations made 45-90 days in advance of trip start.

            - 0% of trip balance for cancellations made within 45 days of trip start.
